Having Chromebooks in our classroom will allow my students to learn beyond the textbooks. Technology is a great way to supplement and reinforce daily lessons in the classroom! We currently use a program called Lexia. Lexia allows students to practice phonics skills at their own pace. It is reccomended that they use this program for a half hour a day. We also use technology to reinforce math concepts. We currently use the Eureka Math curriculum. This curriculum offers an online program called Zearn that reinforces daily lessons. I would love to be able to use this program to reinforce our daily math lessons. Technology not only allows students to work at their own pace, but it provides me with data and materials that I can use to support their needs during daily lessons. As our world begins to rely more and more on technology, it is important that my students are getting the opportunity to use technology at a young age to give them basic computer usage skills. Please help me support my students so I can give them the best education possible!
