Elementary students love to read, and the best way to teach them to read is by placing a book in their hands. My classroom will benefit from having additional books added to our library. The selected books correlate with the content they have been learning at school. These books will reinforce topics such as the Revolutionary War, which will give students a deeper understanding of the importance of the event. Giving each student a new book will heighten their interest in their love for reading. An intrinsic passion for books drives my classroom to keep reading. The selected titles would be new books for students to read.
