Our students are constantly exposed to online literacy programs such as Lexia and Istation. Such programs require periods of extensive listening. Students cannot focus properly if they hear over twenty-three other programs running simultaneously. Without these headphones, students cannot hear the audio files from which they then answer comprehension questions, learn new vocabulary. My students will accomplishment more during their educational career; therefore, they will be at grade level by the time they finish Kinder. During the time my students use they headphones, they will develop a better understanding of the program presented to them. Finally, they will be no interactions while they are learning.
