The flexible seating options I have requested all have a "home" in our room. What I mean by that is that I know where everything will be used in our room. We need your help to get those items here! The carpet will be used for carpet seating towards the front of the room allowing students closer visual access to lessons. The wobble stools will be used for table seating towards the back of the room, as it will allow more students to sit here as an option. Scoop chairs, chair balls and saucer chairs will be used throughout the middle of the room as they are a little bigger. By donating to this project, you will help increase and maintain student attention and participation as they work harder/longer and cause less disruptions when they can choose their own work space. This can lead to an increase in academic achievement. The products selected will allow my students more seating options while helping teach them responsible decision making skills to enhance their learning. I have seen how choice can positively affect student work and confidence in themselves as learners and how to continue to foster.
