The tables in the classroom will allow the students to have enough room to use technology as well as paper and pencil in the mathematics classroom. The students often feel like they have to choose between the two because the desks that they use only have enough room for one. There are many programs that can be used to supplement the mathematics instruction. It is difficult to get them to transfer their work from the computer to paper and pencil when they do not have enough room to do so. My students need to be comfortable so that they can learn and understand mathematics. The tables in the classroom will get them the comfort that they need to use the technology provided for them to have the best quality education. With the tables they can use their computers, calculators, paper and pencil. It will also be easier for them to work in collaborative groups because a partner will always be at the table with them.
