We have a great school, but the theatre arts program doesn't have much of a budget for basic curriculum items, including stage makeup. Part of the information and application that students should experience deals with stage makeup, and I have students in Theatre Arts and in Technical Theatre (our school's first year for that class) who have NEVER been taught the basics of stage makeup. Therefore, as the cost of one stage makeup kit is rather expensive, I am hoping to put together stage makeup kits to enable each of my students to have their own kit in order for them to individually and effectively explore the art of theatrical makeup design and create their own stage makeup characterizations.
