My students love to read but have read all of the books available to them in my classroom. Several of my students love to read the same book at the same time and instigate their own book clubs. Their love of reading isn't just to succeed academically, it is impacting the way they communicate with each other. In the world of technology, sometimes social skills are lacking. The book clubs the students have created are encouraging others to love reading and they are having great conversations around their books. My students will be able to grow as readers with a variety of leveled books chosen. They will have books that they can check out, take home, and share with their peers.
