Pocket charts will enable students and teacher to use every second of the day for instructional time. It will not be wasted on looking for a lost phone or trying to figure out whose phone is ringing. Parents feel it is important enough for their children to have cell phones so they know their children are safe. With the pocket charts, this is a way for the phones to be here, but to not be a hindrance to learning. NDMS has always tried to keep relationships with parents and students strong and want to continue that philosophy. It is beneficial to always communicate with teachers, parents, students and administration.
