These materials will be used as a resource for students both at home (digital copy) and in the classroom( print copy) once we transition to hybrid learning during 2nd semester. We have a magazine stand/shelf where we can keep the print copies on display to make them look inviting for the students. Students have a dedicated time for independent reading and Scholastic Action can be a great addition to our library. I will incorporate the reading articles from the magazine in the lessons I prepare to help students write strong papers, cite evidence and reasoning. This will help build their academic vocabulary and acquire academic language as they continue to read and write about topics that are relevant to them.
