I am requesting flexible seating because I have learned that students are the most engaged and attentive when they are physically comfortable. Flexible seating would accommodate many students in my classroom and help them feel more at ease when learning. I love the idea of preferential seating because I love giving students the freedom to choose! Even as an adult, I like to wiggle around! Flexible seating would allow my students more options for preferential seating. Right now, my students only have the traditional desk/chair option and two flexible seating discs.
