Everyone deserves to read the books of their choice--the books that capture their imagination and make them want to read more. In our fourth and fifth grade classes we believe every student should be able to select books that they WANT to read regardless of their reading level. This project would fund every student to get a pair of earbuds so they can listen to rich and complex stories on audiobooks. It will also fund a collection of audiobooks to add to our growing library of student choice books. Students will be able to access stories that they would not be able to read independently. Listening to these stories will provide every student to experience the joys of reading.

About my class
