This activity helps kids to learn about volume in a creative and hands-on way. Students can use their individuality to create a sculpture and then calculate the volume of their sculpture. These supplies will help them to create something and make it their own and to take ownership of their learning and become proud of what they have created. Students begin to love math when they are no longer afraid of it and can learn it in a creative way. Students will be able to individualize their sculptures by adding paint and creative supplies to make it their own.
