My goal is to fill out the missing gaps in several of the series that our students love to read. We have acquired one or two books in several inspiring series, but without having the entire series, they are always wondering what came between in the missing books. I would really love to add some newer and relevant nonfiction pieces to expand their background knowledge. Many of the tests they are required to take rely on students being exposed to what many people would think were commonly known facts. For my students who are largely English as second language learners this background knowledge is limited.
