Students should be in charge of their own learning and that is why flexible seating will benefit my classroom. Currently my students are working on the floors or on their desks. As they are working on the floor they are using their text books to write on because we do not have very many clip boards. Therefor, the portable lap table will make my students more comfortable in my classroom. The chairs at the school are often vandalized and broken because of wear and tear. That is why the new seating will benefit my class in a variety of way including getting some of my students that can't stop moving a chance to focus. The use of whiteboards is a daily activity in my classroom. We use them in math whole group and small group. However, our white boards are stained, cracked, and have been through some trauma.
