These books will continue to enhance my students desire to read. As a first year teacher, my classroom library is steady growing. It is a subject in my classroom that my students really enjoy. We have read aloud where I read various books to them on the carpet as they eat snack. They also have an independent reading time where the option to choose books from my library to read during this time. Every book that is placed in my library is treated with special care and they are thankful for the opportunities to read. All of these books have been chosen with my students in mind. I have watched them take some of my read aloud books and read for themselves. I have also watch many who did not have a love for reading develop a love for reading. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading.
