I teach 7th and 8th grade classes where over 95 students enter my classroom door. One of my priorities is to create a welcoming atmosphere where my students feel safe and loved. To help students handle the stress and anxieties they face today, I want to create a Mindfulness Corner in my classroom where students can "chill" or calm down and practice meditation. They can also use this corner as an alternative seating choice during class. The items I hope to receive will give my students tools to use that will help them handle their emotions in a safe way!
