The students in my class have really dove into each and every novel we have read this year. I want to help their love of reading continue to grow. The novel I have chosen, "The Crossover" by Kwame Alexander is high interested and challenging for 7th grade readers. Giving my students a new novel to read by the end of the year will hopefully carry their love of reading through the summer! We have made alot of strides this year, learning to love reading. This is only going to help them on their journey to loving literature and looking forward to reading on their own!
