Although it may not seem like much, these glazes will help my students to create the art THEY want. There is a high interest in Ceramics, and it has only been the second year it has been offered! We added sections and filled classes to the brim, and in turn, the supplies, especially the glazes, have become severely depleted. Student choice is an important aspect of my classroom environment. Something as simple as the color of their ceramics project is a great way to achieve student choice. I would like for my students to continue to create meaningful art and apply student choice, but they can only do that when they have the supplies they need. The end of the school is coming quickly and my students would greatly appreciate glazes to finish their projects!
