I will use these materials will help my students find their voice and help identify their emotions with morning read alouds. Including the multicultural books and books with different genders in the leading role will help my students see themselves in a bigger picture and connect to character. I want to provide my amazing students with books that spark their interests and their creativity. As a first year teacher, my personal library is lacking in several of these key elements and I would love the opportunity to provide these resources to my current students and those in years to come.
