The STEM manipulatives such as the marble machine, circuit kit, and gravity walls will challenge my students to create scientific designs that will be unique and competitive. They may also foster their interest in different design fields and help them understand how some systems work. I will introduce these items in different STEM lessons during instruction time and then make them available to my students to explore during indoor recess time due to bad air quality in Ogden, Utah. These activities will have endless design possibilities and will foster independent growth and learning, as well as group collaboration with each other.
