My students need a couple of more history text books as well as better materials for organizing handouts and making and labeling maps. Students need to be more hands-on at times, especially with visual learning aids, study aids, and maps. This helps them better memorize and understand the places and people that we learn about in the history and geography curriculum. Plus, sometimes students desperately need time to create with their hands, even if for a few minutes of class time to break up the monotony of being still several hours a day or writing notes or solving problems in their notebooks.
