I work in a very low-income area. Most of the students I teach are limited to what they can do through art because of their families' financial situation. These materials will open up to them and let them see that art is attainable and includes more than just paper and pencils. My materials will bring new love and inspiration into their daily lives and hopefully give them something to look forward to as it pertains to thinking differently and imaginatively. I want to cultivate their love of the world outside what they know!

About my class
