My project involves creating games to review major concepts in biology. Learning by playing games can be more engaging and fun. Biology questions will be created that is aligned with the Virginia state standards. This will be used with Trivial Pursuit and Jenga games to review key concepts. This will allow students to review and remediate for the Virginia state exam and other assessments. Gamification enhances motivation for students to review and provide them with feedback. Furthermore, students are encouraged to participate. The goal is to increase a student's performance on assessments while teaching them to be collaborators and team players.
