Many of my students lack to basic supplies when creating projects. Many of my lessons are hands on and require to students to use their creativity to connect the lesson to real life scenarios. One example, I am teaching tomorrow about sustainability and agriculture in Africa. Students will not only be reading excerpts of the the growth of cocoa in Africa, but also tasting the different brands of cocoa, drawing maps of commodity chains, watching videos on production with Nestle and the Ivory coast. All, of these activities help students make connections but require a lot of prep and supplies.

About my class
