The classroom library is the most important part of my classroom. My students read independently in our classroom every day. In Readers Workshop, students are expected to read 10-15 minutes a day. Access to interesting books of various reading levels is a must in keeping my students engaged in reading for that long of a time. My dream is for students to struggle to make a book choice because there are so many books they want to try. My goal as a teacher is to make kids better readers, and I am able to do that when I can provide students with great books.
