The materials we use, help to reach all different types of learners. It is helpful to have a place to store all manipulatives that will be used for centers. We do math and literacy centers, so this is a space to organize all of the manipulatives. This will allow me to organize per student group as well as keeping Math and Literacy centers separate. We will also use the flexible seating spot circles to help keep us focused while sitting on the reading rug during our literacy lessons. The carpet spots help us with spatial awareness as well as help us respect others space.
