This book stand will help our students see some of our featured books and encourage reading. They will be able to easily find the book they may want by seeing the front cover versus scanning through the book shelf. Our listening center is one I have wanted to incorporate into our reading instruction all year now, but I have not had the funds to do so. Students will be able to sit together in a group and listen to a story being read to them. With such wide range of students in their ability levels, these materials will help them grow to become independent readers. They love using various modes of learning, and this will do just that for them. It is important to make reading fun, and where the students can get away from their home life.
