Our third-fifth graders have the opportunity to participate in the Tome Society activities. They read the seven Club Tome books, participate in book discussions, various literacy activities of their choice and Reading Bowl Activities. By having multiple copies of the Club Tome books our students will be able to read each books together and more actively engage in discussions. Since they will have their own copy during the book club they will be able to read assigned passages and keep up with their peers. They will not have to locate copies in the local library, or wait for others to get finished reading.

About my class
