We are building a history program at the Pace Middle School. And to do that the right way our students need to love history! In order to love history, our young learners need to hear stories that they can relate to, and stories that are exciting. These books will speak to our particular population of students, and be effectively used throughout the middle school history curriculum in a variety of lessons and projects. The books that focus on African American history and Latino history, in particular, will be extremely valuable as these groups are often neglected in many traditional Social Studies textbooks. Please help me to inspire a love of history in my students!
