With some of the new SEED standards, science is an area where sometimes creating a hands on approach proves to be difficult. For example, when it comes to weather, hands on activities, especially for 12 year old students, is proving to be difficult. The labs here would bring this topic alive! Microscopes open up a whole new world of microorganisms for the students, which work in direct correlation with the ecosystem strand of the SEED standards for 6th grade. These digital microscopes, which have their own screen, would truly help all students. Sometimes looking down a scope is difficult for the students who wear glasses or the severely visually impaired. This particular microscope eliminates the struggle of peering down a scope. This opportunity is so exciting! Thank you so much, in advance for your generosity.
