We are starting a new classroom library because we are a brand new school. We have been slowly been adding books with scholastic points, but our shelves definitely need some non-fiction, and diverse books. Students will use books for independent reading and book clubs in our class. Having more variety will allow students to find books of their interest and hopefully become lifelong readers. We believe that leaders are readers therefore we are looking to fill the shelves. Right now I have six book shelves and only one is filled. Please considered adding to our classroom library so every student can find a book to checkout and find something they can connect with.
