This is our culminating project after reading "The Omnivores's Dilemma." Students have been learning about the supply of food, the cultural aspects of food, making healthy choices as well as the various aspects of generating a marketing plan for a business. They will be using this project to learn about marketing strategies and working collaboratively. Students have looked forward to this project as an opportunity to express their creativity and are genuinely excited to engage in project based learning. The idea was generated by our team and we have managed to generate a ton of excitement. This is a very artistic and creative group of students who have asked great questions during our reading and discussion times. I really look forward to seeing what they produce. Trucks will be displayed throughout the school and students will also be given opportunities to make their "sales pitches" to students and administrators.
