My CORE 1st and 2nd grade classroom is made up of seven Exxeptional Children! Independence is extreamly important to each of them, but sometimes can be overwhelming. The rug will offer each child to have their own space during circle and large group time. The yoga balls will be an option when a child needs a brain break. The shelving will allow the class to stay organized and instill task skills that will continue to help them grow as learners. Choice time throughout the academic day allows them to learn through play. Building blocks and taking care babies are their current interests!!
