My 2nd graders enjoy the ability to sit throughout the room during independent reading and writing time. So many of them would rather be at a low table or on the floor instead of at a traditional desk. However, they currently don't have many options for sitting comfortably while on the floor. The lap desks I am requesting would be a great addition to our classroom to allow kids the chance to work on the floor in a comfortable way. The plastic lap desks would be great for students to use during independent writing times. The Chromebook lap desks offer a unique way to work on technology without the chrome book resting on their legs. The privacy partitions will offer my students a chance to minimize distractions and have some privacy while working. Many times young students have wandering eyes which can cause misleading scores on assessments. Privacy partitions will be used during tests and quizzes when privacy is key. The rainbow liquid sensory viewers are a great way for my students to quietly give themselves a few minutes when needed to calm down, de-stress, take a break or rest their minds. They are soothing to watch and don't make noises that could distract other learners.
