The objects that were chosen for this behavior incentive program were chosen, some because there are sensory satisfactory tools like weighted neck animals, squishy objects, gum and chewelry for chewers, LEGO kits for students who work extra hard and show responsibility by saving their points in order to get a big-ticket item. There are a lot of STEM items and problem-solving skilled items to satisfy those enormous curiosities. These items will help me build my store for my students to purchase and leave them with the feeling of self-accomplishment because they will be able to purchase these items at the end of the week with hard work and showing true GRIT! By creating behavior goals with each student in my program, I will be able to allow them to be an important part of taking on some responsibility for their behaviors and actions throughout the school year. Each of these students has the potential to be successful at earning rewards and maintaining their goals and each of these items would give these students an opportunity and motivation to be successful during their day.
