The iPad will help me provide high quality and engaging distance learning lessons for all my students. Through the use of an iPad, I will be able to communicate with my students via video conferencing, record lessons for my students, use virtual manipulatives, make annotations, highlight texts, provide interactive and live examples instead of using a piece of paper to write down examples/notes and share them via a camera. Once we return to our classroom, the tablet will be instrumental to me and my students as I will be able to display content from the iPad to my projector. Consequently, this will give me freedom to move around the classroom instead of feeling restricted at the front of the class. Having this valuable tool will help my students feel comfortable to ask questions and receive individualized attention as they will have me closer to them due to the proximity and mobility that the iPad will give me. I will be able to walk around the classroom with the iPad and continue the lesson while monitoring my students' progress.
