Students use their Chromebooks daily in my classroom, especially because most of their curriculum materials are online. Having mice for students to use with their Chromebooks will greatly improve their experience in my classroom. The Chromebooks are 5 years old and many of the touchpads are broken, so the students get frustrated quickly because they cannot drag and drop or scroll down. This becomes a quick distraction and disruption in the classroom because I have to ease their frustration as best I can and I only have one mouse for the entire class to share. The students have a very important test in a month, (I.A.R. Illinois Assessment of Readiness) and it is online. To be able to provide them with these mice during the test will guarantee a frustration-free testing environment. By having these mice, students will be able to avoid all of these problems and focus on increasing their learning!
