We are requesting a variety of nonfiction books for our classroom library. Each year my class is so excited to read nonfiction books. Nonfiction books are hard to find at grade level through scholastic books where we often get free books from points earned. I have found a plethora of nonfiction books for beginning readers on Amazon. Beyond the enjoyment of reading nonfiction books for these beginning readers, I like to have students work on research projects. It would be very helpful to have additional resources for research right in our classroom. These books would be beneficial for years to come and could be shared with the other first grade classrooms! Thank you for your consideration and generosity with this project!
