In first grade, we are noisy, we are curious, we move, we collaborate, we work hard, and we play harder. First graders aren't always easy on supplies. The LilGadgets headphones are durable and specifically designed for young students. We use technology daily in our classroom. Having a little less noise would be helpful for students to focus and be more engaged. Some of the students bring their own headphones, but many do not have any. I do have some older ones that we have collected to share. "Alone we are smart, together we are brilliant." -Steven Anderson, educator. This is a fitting quote. Collaborating can take a student so much farther. They have to learn to work with others. They can hear new or different ideas. It makes them think in ways that they don't have to when they work alone. These headphones will allow students to connect to each other and their devices with built-in ports. Gone will be the days of finding our splitters. The built-in microphone is also appealing so they can record their answers, talk to type, read a story and more. Some of the technology that we would use with these headphones would be things like NearPod, Seesaw, Spelling City, Wonders Reading, Everyday Math, Freckle, TumbleBooks and so much more.
