These products will provide a space for my students to have teacher-directed small groups. We currently use our carpet area for whole group, so students would benefit greatly from have more structured space to engage in their learning. This space would be used in a variety of ways; from literary and math instruction to hands-on science exploration. The stools will also provide a alternative choice in seating for students. This small group spaces will also allow a space for differentiated instruction to occur. These differentiated small groups will allow for remediation, practice, and extension of the content; to allow all students to be successful and have access to the content.
