These stepping stones will address many needs for my students. t'hey will provide my students with experiences to strengthen their visual tracking and gross motor skills as they maneuver through the ups and downs associated with these stones. The stones will work on coordination and balance which many of my students are delayed in. The stones will also support the goals that they are working on. In addition to the alphabet stones addressing the letter name association, my older students will benefit from using the stones to work on spelling words and phonics skills. The number stones will also address beginning addition and subtraction at both grade levels. All of this while having fun!
