Research tells us that reading to your child 20 minutes a day is crucial to their oral language and reading development. Many of our families don't have access to quality, age appropriate literacy. Our goal is to help bridge that gap and begin to build a foundation for life long love of reading. We are hoping to support our families by hosting a literacy event. At this event, families will come to our school and participate with their child in language arts activities based on our theme, If You Give A Mouse A Cookie. We would like to gift each family a copy of the beloved children's classic, by Laura Numeroff.

About my class
