The materials i'm requesting will make a difference in my students learning by providing them with the necessary tools to complete all their assignments. I have several student who come to school daily without the basic materials such as pencils , pens, and even paper that is needed for them to do their work. My science curriculum often requires the use of a Chromebook where students have to watch videos and complete readings, frequently my students have to wait around to borrow headphones to complete these assignments. Being that i also teach over 10 special education students who require their text to be read aloud it is very important that my classroom has enough working headphones for the whole class. When students have the basic necessities for class they are more positive and willing to complete their assignments. A good portion of the students families cannot afford to purchase their children headphones, pens, pencils, and even paper. Having these items already in class for those in need would make a huge difference for my students.
