First graders are expected to sit way too long during the day. Unfortunately, that is just the case. I hope to have comfortable seating options for some of my students. My dream is that sitting on a coach to read a book will make my students more eager, than just sitting at their desk. Plastic chairs really take a toll on our bodies. With your help I will be able to introduce my 22 first graders to a room filled with soft, cushioned chairs. Gone will be the days that they spend entirely way too long at their desk, now we can give them the option of reclining, while learning.

About my class
