My students and their guardians are constantly asking for tips on what resources they can use for studying. Many of the adults are pretty open and honest about being unable to help when it comes to math. I often over-extend myself with after school help sessions in order to meet their needs - especially since many of our families can't afford private tutoring and our school no longer offers a H.W. Help program. Directing kids to other videos online means I have to keep up on the content myself in order to resolve misconceptions the kids may pick up from watching them. With this video recording/editing equipment, I can create my own videos for the students to access 24/7. They can pause, rewind, and slow down the content as they see fit. I can easily add and subtract content as I fine-tune the contents of each video and even add bookmarks and captions for easy referencing. When used alongside notes or provided samples, students will be able to learn at their own pace and easily pull up content to review it again - especially for those who are absent for one or more lessons.
