I have students with some sensory needs so them being able to have fidgets readily available will help them to remain on task. My students also have a wide range of how concepts are learned and retained. Having many choices of how to teach concepts makes the learning of them fun! Bingo and Legos are a huge hit! Social skills are a necessity in life. My students ability to be able to have these social skills is very important to me. Them being able to learn different types of social skills using games will make it enjoyable and they will want to participate. Having a clean and germ free classroom is essential to learning. Healthy students=more success! My students being able to earn incentives/rewards even if it is something as simple as a stamp or sticker is a huge motivating factor.
