With the rise of technology there are so many incredible applications and online resources available to aid in classroom instruction and reinforce skills and spiral back to standards already taught as review. However, with a class of 15-20 and only 6 laptops it is very difficult to implement some of these amazing, research-based applications and programs. These tablets would benefit my students in so many ways across EVERY subject area. Students would be able to practice math fact fluency, reading fluency and comprehension, research science topics, and so much more. These tablets would increase engagement and thus increase student proficiency.
