Our middle school is somewhat unique in that we begin with 5th grade. The transition for any student from elementary to middle school is challenging, but it is even more so for a 5th grader. Our hallway is the first thing our students see each morning when they get to school, and we would like to make it more inviting and welcoming for our students. These cork boards would give us a place to display student work outside each classroom, as well as highlight our students of the week, recognize our monthly good citizens, celebrate birthdays, and keep track of attendance and behavior rewards. We want our students to feel known and appreciated for their hard work and for their hallway to be a place that is bright and inspiring.

About my class
