Help me give my students books that peek their interest in economic concepts and stackable stools to sit in a small group setting for Finance Book Clubs. Finacial literacy equips students with the knowlwdge and skills to manage money effectively. Just imagine, 5th graders, sitting around in small groups talking about finances. Learning about finances is a skill that my students need and will use throughout their lifetime. The books, The Lemonade War and Double Fudge, are fun and enjoyable for 5th graders. The books will help the students connect the economic lessons with stories about how money is produced, exchanged, market, price, earnings, savings and budgets.
