In our ever-expanding digital world, it is critical to equip our students with the skills they will need to be creative problem-solvers. Providing our students with a classroom set of micro:bit codeable processors will give them the hands-on experience to understand the basics of coding that will inspire them to pursue computer engineering. In our highly impovished community, exposure to the computer science world is limited to the low-level applications of a chromebook. Help me to provide the beginning pathway to higher levels of engagement, hands-on problem-solving, and creativity, so students learn to think AND act like advanced coders, designers, artists, scientists, and engineers.
